"I am happy I visited during winter. I could not see myself spendings thousands of dollars during summer months. Very disappointed. The couches and recliner were dirty. The balcony could not enjoy because of all the poop. I went to take a bath in jacuzzi and bugs started coming out of the jets. Roaches in kitchen. Really bad experience. The pictures on the site is not the room I was in."

"Got a jacuzzi suite if that's what you would like to call it the room had rust and mold in the bathroom and ceiling, and jacuzzi was dirty so didnt even use it or attempt to clean it. Smelled like marijuana. Parking was across the street at a store out in the open. Pillows were like sleeping on a bag of potatoes and got bit by something multiple times. Only good thing about my stay was that the front desk staff was very nice and friendly and the balcony was awesome because we was on Oceanview side. I stayed in January and pools were open and warm, only put my feet in though. Overall I'll be staying in an airbnb next time like usual."

"I had a wonderful time with my sons. It was the first time I had been to the beach. It's so beautiful there & I can't wait to go back soon. Hopefully we will stay at the Sandy Beach Resort, everyone was really nice & the rooms were nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Its the place to stay at when you go to the beach. "Upon arriving there was a horrible smell that filled the bottom level where the pool area was that led to the elevators. I got to the lobby to check in the staff was helpful. I got to my room and was not expecting how ugly the decor was. When I first stayed at the resort I stayed in a two bedroom suite that was gorgeous. The checkout experience was okay until a security guard told me me my mother that we were to take our trash out the room and our sheets out the room down the hall. I’ve never stayed at a resort that told us to do that. Lastly I only came on this visit to experience the indoor pool and hot tub. So I didn’t get to experience none of the amenities I paid for. Also wasn’t told before hand that the pop and hot tub was shut down. I would’ve changed my dates that way I would’ve enjoyed my stay this was one of the worst vacation I’ve had"

"Our room was dated. I suppose they need a renovation. We rented a 3 bedroom for a week. The room was clean and service came every day to see if we needed anything. Kudos to the maintenance staff. When we arrived we realized on day 2 that our refrigerator was not working. We had plenty of food that would be wasted. Maintenance came and tried to repair the fridge but decided to replace the fridge instead - good call. We had a room on the top floor, ocean view and pool side. The outdoor patio was spacious. Even though there was some noise on the weekends from people partying into the night, we didn't hear much of it. I suppose management should cut off the partying at some reasonable time. The hotel has a private beach and is close to attractions. Parking is no problem because parking lot has plenty of room. This is not a 5 star hotel but this should be expected given the cost of a room. If you are going to central Myrtle Beach this is probably one of the better hotels except for the 5 star resorts."
