"Beware of this unethical hotel! We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times previously for the location and being a dog friendly hotel. Unfortunately, after our recent experience, we will not be staying here again and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked a two night stay, with two dogs ($80 dog fee for the stay). We live about two hours away and unfortunately, one of our dogs got very sick the morning we were supposed to check in. With our dog having a very upset stomach, we didn’t want to risk our dog having a bunch of accidents in the room, so regrettably had to cancel our trip. Since it had been more than 24 hours since we had booked our room, the cost was non-refundable. When I called to cancel, I mentioned I understood and agreed that I should be charged for the room and booking fee, but asked if they would refund the dog and cleaning fee since we weren’t actually staying in the room. They informed me that the entire cost was non-refundable INCLUDING the $80 dog fee as well as the cleaning fee. I asked why I still had to pay a dog fee and a cleaning fee even though we weren’t going to be staying there, they said it was their policy that they don’t give any refunds. They wouldn’t even consider a partial credit for a future stay. The person I spoke with checked with their management, and management confirmed with them that it was completely non-refundable as per their cancellation policy. I pointed out that the policy only says it’s not refundable, it doesn’t say anything about the dog fee or cleaning fee also not being refundable and a reasonable person would say that a dog fee should be refundable if you end up not checking in. What’s even more confusing, is they told me that if we had booked dogs during our initial reservation, but showed up without dogs, the dog fee would be refunded in that scenario. How does that make any sense?"

"Oh my goodness I love this place! Thank you so so much for the friendly hospitality and clean balcony room, it had a cute little kitchen. My ocean view was incredible! I loved seeing all the dogs come and go during my stay. Super quiet! Close to everything so you can walk on the beach or boardwalk. I will return!"

"Came down Jan 18-22 2024. This is normally my husband and I's go to when its just us, as we dont need fancy with a lot pools and water parks. I booked the room morning of our stay. 920!! Studio King Oceanfront. Upon arrival other guest told us we had go to the 1st floor to check in bc of remodeling. I feel like someone should of called and told us that, when we booked the room. No major issue tho. Obviously, it was extremely cold outside but the lobby on the 1st floor, where check in was being held had absolutely no heat. Nor did the elevators. It was kind of sad for the employees. Our room definitely needed some TLC. The room beside us was being worked on our whole stay, so we were woke each day by equipment. I mean everything is still clean and the staff is very nice....I was just disappointed this time."

"Experience was great. I would stay here again. The room could use a little maintenance. The towel bar came off the wall above the toilet because the screw holding it was loose. Overall, very nice. Friendly staff. Just surprise when I got to the desk and had to pay a fee of $20.00 per day for my little 4 pound dog. The reason it was a surprise is because there was no mention of an additional fee in the add for the stay. It only said pets welcome and none over 20 pounds."

"I stayed in 206 for 4 nights. The room is smaller than I thought but that's not a big deal. If you stay in 206 with 2 people and a small animal you won't have issues. More than that it's gonna be tight. The room had all the very basics needed to cook and clean with. I'd suggest bringing another frying pan if you plan to cook. Our room had a smell and not a good one. Actually the whole 2nd floor had a smell. I bought an air freshener because I spent $800+ and wasn't going to leave and eat that charge or complain because it's obviously an issue all over the strip considering I smelled it in several places. Like in the parking lot and in front of a hotel down the road, while we were walking the strip. The room had a great view of the beach and Ocean. Sitting out in the balcony in the chair closest to the ac unit sucked because it seems to be missing the back cover which made it a lot hotter than it already is. I can't speak to much on the pools other than they were clean. This place is very dog friendly they have a grooming/shop just for the doggies. I suggest if you're on a budget and wanna bring your best fur friend you give this place a shot. It's absolutely not the best on the strip but it's also not the worst either."
