The Strand

"Mold in the bathroom around the tub and bottom side of shower. Sheets were moldy and dirty. I've been wondering why my allergies were kicking my butt this weekend and now I know. This place needs a major cleaning and upgrade all around. We have been coming here for a while but I think it's time to find another place to go. The staff are very friendly and everything else is good but the cleanliness needs some serious upgrades. If I could post the pics of the sheets and mold I would but I can't."

"We love staying here!!! Super friendly staff who never hesitates to help if needed. Great views on the oceanfront balcony any time of the day! Breakfast is included and the pools are heated and felt wonderful on a chilly day. We will definitely be back!"

"The staff were amazing. Friendly and professional. The main floor, lobby and restaurant are nice. The rooms need to have upgrades. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The paint and carpet were worn and dated. The shower had no water pressure and the hot water ran out after 1 shower. Shower fixtures need to be replaced. For the price it was good enough for a short stay. The pool and hot tub were clean, well maintained and heated wonderfully."

"The beds and pillows were comfortable, on the firm side which we like. The room was clean and housekeeping gave us plenty of towels. We had ocean views which is nice. The location is very good with dining options in walking distance and attractions a short drive away. We stayed here last year and the breakfast variety was better and the cookies at the front desk were a nice touch but missing this year."
