Beach Vacations | Myrtle Beach Condo Rentals

"Writing this review a little late. I was looking for a house to rent with my family for the labor day weekend, I called the office and one of the workers walked me through what they had available. I ended up going with a cottage he recommended and it was relatively cheap. As I was making my way down to myrtle beach I saw that the company had 2.4 review and that many people complained about the rentals being extremely dirty and with no help from the workers. I was really scared to go an find a dirty house but on the contrary the cottage was very nice looking, and it was around a really quiet neighborhood. The only thing I can complain about was that yes some of the dishes were dirty but I mean its a rental house of course the dishes wont be at the best just buy soap and a sponge and clean them if you will use them. The only minor problem I experienced with staff is that they wrote the wrong address on the envelope so I had to call after hours to see where it was, the guy who answered was very polite and very helpful, he even told me if something wasn’t to our liking to call back and he would take care of it. Overall I and my family enjoyed the stay and are looking forward to renting out the cottage again next year. I now realize this was super long lol."

"the first building (river oaks dr) we stayed at was AWFUL. had bugs crawling everywhere so we had to pack everything up at about 12:30am to get out of there and go somewhere else. charlie from the after hours service line was able to put us in a room at an oceanfront room in a different resort. due to some confusion we had to stay at a hotel for the night until we could get someone to actually help us during office hours. the second office we went to debbie and caleb were SO helpful and kind and willing to work with us younger girls. fran at river oaks dr was not fun to deal with. i would merely ask a question and she’d make me feel stupid and like i shouldn’t be talking and asking questions. if you go through this company definitely ask to talk to debbie or caleb!"

"Horrible experience. We rented unit 126 at “A place at the a beach IV” and it was FILTHY. The floors were so sandy when we came in that our feet actually were black. I had to go to target to buy extra slippers. We went to pull the sofa bed out and there was actually trash shoved behind the sofa. The sofa bed was soooo bad that the person who was supposed to sleep on it actually had to go stay somewhere else bc it was that bad. The linens are stained and gross. There was crusty, old toilet paper behind one of the toilets. Dust everywhere. The TV in bedroom didn’t work, and the TV in the living room would work for 2 minutes and then say the cable was out. The whole unit smelt musty and moldy. We actually own a condo in this building but needed to rent other units because we had a large group, and we will make sure to alert people to NOT rent through this company."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!! I’m still waiting for a refund. I’ve contacted Chase with our screenshots to dispute the transaction. Your account person at Myrtle Beach Vacation Stations said they had no record of my transaction but I have a screenshot of that DBA/Beach Vacations at Myrtle Beach. You said you had a lease with my name. She said she had no record and it’s not the same company (even though both are listed on the Chase transaction). Clearly this is fraud. I also show a cancelled trip from Barefoot Landing and screen shots from you stating I will be receiving a refund. She said you have no properties at Barefoot Landing. Either your company is committing fraud, money laundering or incompetent. It’s been over a month waiting to receive a refund. I’m taking a screenshot of this as well. I will also be posting negative reviews of your company on all websites."

"I recently stayed at Condo 404A, which is on the 4th floor of building 2, at Barefoot. Don't EVER stay there! The room had mold (i have pictures) The showers were disgusting (mold), the ceiling in the main living area was covered in black soot from the heating vent, some of the furniture was broken, there were no wine glasses, no cork screw, and the dishwasher was running when we checkin in. We assumed it was running because it was full, but it was not! it was running because the dishwasher itself was disgusting and covered in mold. The outside furniture was like something you see at a kids day care. Small, uncomfortable and half broken. This unit needs a complete overhaul. I have never written a review before, but this unit made us all feel dirty/scummy and very uncomfortable. Lastly, we showed up at 4pm to check in, and the condo was not ready. Do yourself a favor, and request a different unit!"
