"What a great place to stay in Oak Island! Centrally located and you can walk to the beach, shopping, and food. Grocery stores and more restaurants were only a few minutes down the road. Extremely clean. Even though it is right on the main road, it is very quiet and the only traffic we noticed were the very few cars that wanted to be noticed and I’m sure they were heard 4 blocks back too. We brought our pup and he had a great time. Very safe area as I walked him early morning and late night by myself and felt very comfortable. We had a 2 queen room and it had a microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge to utilize if needed. Hot water and water pressure of the shower were great! We will definitely be back!"

"This was the perfect place to stay for our vacation!! The dog-friendly amenity was a huge plus because we didn’t have to leave our two boys behind. Rooms are very cute and clean and the manager there was so friendly and responsive! Walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. You can’t beat it! We will absolutely be staying here for our next beach visit!"

She waited up for us to check in to be sure there were no problems, and gave us information on places to eat and where to go. She treated us like family. We highly recommend Anchor Inn and visiting Oak Island!"

"Will definitely stay here again! The room is very spacious, clean, and newly renovated. I love all of the wood and decor. The only suggestion I would have is to provide a hair dryer and a rug or something by the door to put your wet/dirty feet/shoes on. That is truly the ONLY complaint I have. The manager was very helpful and responsive. Our stay was wonderful!"
