"The Palms at Long Bay offers nice condos very close to beach front. The rooms are large enough to accommodate several people not to mention a very nice pool including a kiddos pool. If you are planning on visiting Oak Island considering staying here and you will be sure to enjoy your visit."

"It's quite and peaceful, out of the way not overly crowded, convenient to local restaurants and sights. Nice beach not expensive to stay at around 1200.00 a week. About the only inconvenient thing is getting grocery as there is only 1 grocery store and it is busy at any hour however even though this is where everyone gets groceries their well stocked and fast friendly service. This is a food lion. Come check it out and tell em papa sent cha."
