"The room was updated and very clean. The location was very close the best fishing dock. Across the street was a great place for food, nonalcoholic drinks and micro brewery beers. Also across the street was an very nice restaurant. It was close to supermarkets and other stores. They helped me with anything I needed. I will stay there anytime I am in that area. Made my trip very enjoyable. One of the best places I’ve stayed."

"What a GEM!! The most affordable place to stay on Oak island. Five min walk to the beach, restaurants and a bar on the beach !! This is a quaint, “beachy” historic place to stay, family owned and run. Yes at any give time you will see John, Savannah, Dylan and John running around making this lovely place a home away from home at the same time stopping to chat with their guests. I can’t say enough about how welcome this family made us feel. An extra bonus is the newly renovated rooms. Beautifully custom built by John the owner the room was immaculate and the beds were super comfy!! We loved sitting on the patio outside our room and swimming in the pool. Don’t miss staying here you will come back every year. It’s the place to make memories."
