"I purchased beds and other bedroom furniture, two mattresses, two desks, a dining table, chairs, a console, a sleeper sofa, a coffee table, and two adirondack chairs, and they were delivered today by Elvis and Manuel. I am so pleased with the furniture. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I have made purchases from Heavner in the past, and I have never had a problem. They are a locally owned company and the next day after I made the purchase, a lady called and scheduled my delivery for the next week. Their customer service is a lot better than Rooms to Go. "I just got my coffee table delivered along with a couch. The couch was a fair deal and exactly what you’d expect from a discount furniture store. The coffee table is pictured below not closing. When I called to dispute the flawed table Ariel the salesperson told us the table was marked down for “as is” condition, and that it wouldn’t close properly. There was no mention of this in the store and he did not show us the flaw, so I perceived this as a lie to get around selling a faulty piece of furniture. When I said my unhappiness would be reflected in the form of a review he seemed okay with this, so here is the review. We would have certainly noticed the table not closing all the way as we inspected it for some time before leaving the store. I don’t enjoy being told that I didn’t notice it before and that the details of this were disclosed when they in fact were not. This review gets one star for lack of transparency. This review gets one star because of a lying salesperson and deception within quality of goods."
