"Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with. I am currently working with Alight to remove this company. I have a call with some head honcho at Aetna (who owns them) regarding the service and even the legality of their operations. Been on hold on 3 occasions for over 5 hours and when you get them they are bad. You are forced to stop payment in order to change the policy--then they try to charge you for that. Just a crooked, non-responsive organization. Oh, BTW, GoodRx beat their price in all 61 occasions in 2023, so they never covered a thing after$520 in annual premium--not a thing."

"I would not recommend aetna due to the fact that the service is not up to standard and when calling in you get connected to an out of the United States representative. It is very difficult to understand and they sound muffled. However, my issue is I cancelled my policy in April due to a better quote with Blue Shield. Aetna reimbursed my down payment within 3 weeks. Little to my acknowledgement I realized the withdraws coming out of my account were through aetna after doing some research. Now they are saying that I never canceled and for me to get my money back I will need to send them proof of my Blue Shield card in which I will. I just want to add that this insurance company is not credible and don't take any chances with the incompetents' of foreign staff."

"Very disappointed on how Aetna customer service handling of my Account. When I got my policy kit it came late in the month so my first payment did not go in on time. There was no mention that it had to be on the first of the month. Being a retired Aetna employee myself I feel Aetna has gone down hill."

"After being passed around to five different operators, calling this company in order to change my email address and telephone address. Unfortunately, because my husband is demented and has Alzheimer’s disease, he can’t speak for himself or write or sign his name. They would not allow me to change the address or telephone number. I could not get my husband’s power of attorney before he got so sick and now this company refuses to help me. I am the beneficiary. I am his wife and I’m very upset with this company."
