"I just wanted to say how kind and caring the staff were. I had a really unique situation with my family pup. They were so kind and helpful and truly care about the well being of your animal. They also take the time to talk you through each step. Couldn’t have asked for a better vet visit today."
"I appreciate that they have Saturday hours and have more than 1 veterinarian on staff. Previous vet had M-F, only, and had no vet one week because she was on vacation. The attention paid to my dog, and my description of her problem was good. The vet asked questions to clarify and better diagnose."
"I have taken my cats there for a few years. Love Dr. Johnson, but the rest of the experience is sub par. Recently, I took my two puppies there and saw another doctor. Both her and the vet tech didn’t seem too sure about anything they were telling me, which was all just general first time visit stuff. We just had to board the dogs due to the holidays. I asked them to give them their distemper booster and their flu (so I can board them at a more fun place next time). I also paid $12 extra for extra attention. They were there only for about 15 hours and my brother in law picked them up. I got home to a bag with their blankets and toys that were completely SOILED and the dogs smelled like pee, which to me leads me to believe they had sat in it for a while. I called today to inquire. I got told they had peed on their blankets right before they were picked up and also spilled their water. I find that hard to believe considering the smell that came from the bag. Washing wasn’t an option, it had to be trashed. I then asked if a puppy exam is needed everytime you get a vaccine and she said only until you get the rabies, I said well we had our rabies before we even came to you and have already been there for shots before where you did the puppy exam, so why am I getting charged again for an exam. She put me on hold again and said bc the first one was free, I had to pay for this one…??? Needless to say, we won’t be back and I’m pulling the records for all my pets and going elsewhere. This was ridiculous and not once did I get an I’m sorry or any concern. I was more of an inconvenience to them."
"We struggled to find the right vet after relocating however we fortunately found Northshore Animal Hospital. The collective team was wonderful, helpful, and understood Tess’s (our elderly dog) needs while being compassionate of our during her later years. Wish we would have found them sooner - just a fantastic group and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Northshore!"
"Long but worth the read if you're looking for a new vet: This past week I brought my dog here for the first time and had the best experience I've had so far at a vet. No exaggeration! My dog was leaking a concerning discharge from her lady parts that was later diagnosed as Pyometra. Dr. Johnson/Dr. Frazier both took the time to exam my dog, run different tests, and give their honest opinion with no biased on what we should do for my dog. Even when they were sure what it may be, they re-did the test to be sure. Dr. Frazier gave us different options and encouraged us to do what we felt was right, even if that meant going to another vet. NEVER pushing us or rushing us to make a decision. (We were there for over 2 hours, past close, and no-one made us feel bad or uncomfortable for being there so long). She ended up having surgery the next morning and they took great care of her. All of the people at this practice, from front desk to vet tech and Dr's, are very genuine and trustworthy. That's something you can't put a price on. We've had multiple iffy experiences at 2 different vets in Knoxville and really lost hope in finding a good place. Check this place out, even if it's just for a general exam! We'll definitely be bringing all 3 of our dogs here for life!"
