The Nest Schools

"We’ve been with the Nest School in Gastonia since they opened. I’ll admit, things were rocky at the beginning with a delayed opening and communication, but new management has come in and we recommend this school to everyone we speak with. My son does not do well with change, and the teachers have been so communicative and patient while helping my son move to the older classroom. On the weekends he tells me he misses his teachers and his friends. He’s always so excited to tell me about his day and each week he just seems to learn so much. I’m glad we stuck through the opening and administrative changes because there’s nothing better than knowing your toddler had a great day with his friends and teachers."

"Expensive but ….. We have been attending The Nest Gastonia since they have opened. My son is a little slow to warm to new people; but The Nest has always made sure transitions were slow and steady. When he was in the infant room, I never worried about if he was developing his fine and gross motor skills - they were always working with him on something! In the 1 year old room, they continued those skills and work on more routine and structure. Developing social skills with friends and sharing. He’s moved up to the twos and loves going everyday. Excited to watch him grow into a little man."

"Our son has been attending this Nest school since June 2023. As new parents, we were worried of how our son would like daycare. He was 3 months when he started and was placed in hummingbirds 1. Ms. Kayden was his teacher at the time and she is wonderful. She remembers the need of our son and able to show kindness to him daily. When our son moved to hummingbirds 2, Mrs. Valerie and Ms. Christina was able to give the same care and understanding when he started to reach different milestones. Every morning, I was greeted by Tonya who is the director at this facility. My son's face would light up upon seeing her. The playground is immaculate. Words can't describe how beautiful their outdoor area is. I felt the Nest School is the perfect place for my child."

"We have been going to The Nest Schools since they opened. We have had a wonderful experience here. New management came in about 2 months ago and have done a great job making sure everything is perfect and all of the environments are better for the kids then they were before. The curriculum is great and fun for the kids. The outdoor play areas are phenomenal as well. Our daughter tells us how much she enjoys it everyday at pickup. Our son has been thriving here as well and always is so happy at pick up. The Nest truly is like family"
