"Beautiful waterfall. One of the best “waterfall roads” in NC. Best way to travel the road is from Franklin to Highlands, but keep your eyes on the road! Road gets narrow and winding in places and there are some who like riding the road fast. Water levels were down, but the leaves were beautiful."
"Really nice place to sit and relax. They have a place you can jump off and into the water and we saw people sliding down the rocks."
"Gorgeous little place. It’s jagged rocks and hard to reach local may put some off. Which is fine not every place has to be overrun, but preserved. This is however, the classic summer nook. Ropes to climb up to seemingly precarious ledges to slide or jump off or simple relax and soak up the sun off one of the many smooth and gorgeous rocks. This pocket of nature is just one of the many gorgeous locales Highlands NC keeps tucked away through its narrow mountain paths."
"Definitely an appropriate name for this falls! Be careful on the slick rocks and uneven terrain. There is a small turn-off that has a one person wide pathway leading to the main falls. They aren't as large as Dry Falls or some of the other surrounding falls, but what was really great was the multitude of butterflies that were swarming the area!"
"On a rainy day, as the clouds hug the valley floor, the mist rolls over this picturesque waterfall creating a wonderful amalgamation of the clouds meeting the water. As you roll down your windows, the roar of the river rapid fills you with anticipation. The views are breathtaking... Hop down the rocks, feel the coolness of the water, but be careful not to bust your butt. It is one of the most serene scenes I have seen in a while. :)"
