"6 strikes: 1. Improperly installed a suspension component on my MDX as compared to that which is well documented by texts with regard to how the installation would be done. I have 3 vehicles which only I drive, worked from home 2+ years. Point being not very many miles put on MDX since being at County Line. It sits @ 98+% of time. 2. Got very defensive to the extent of snide remarks and making lame excuses when I asked about MDX suspension component. I waited 12 days to post giving them plenty of time to reconsider their poor reactions. I’ve not heard a word. 3. Charged $550. on quote of $250. to have another shop add booster springs to rear of my light truck. The springs are way way too stiff, will practically jar the teeth out of your head on the slightest of a bump in road. UPDATE: The truck suspension is so stiff that a starter mounting flange completely broke (from the VERY EXTREME translation of bumps in the road throughout entire vehicle) rendering the truck dead by the roadside . These guys did so badly, I would not dare take any vehicle back for even a free correction of their poor quality work on my little vintage Toyota or the MDX. 4. The wife test drove MDX after timing belt etc replaced (I hope) and claimed my MDX automatic transmission was “shifting hard”. I then took it to a well respected & reputable transmission shop where the owner explained that he “had never had an MDX in his shop” and further explained “that’s a good thing because MDX transmissions just don’t give trouble”. It’s working just fine. Conclusion, maybe the wife is clueless. 5. Too often the ’devil’s advocate’ when we spoke about a repair rather than just simply doing as I (their customer) asked. 6. Openly complaining about a unreliable mechanic employee! SMH, doesn’t instill confidence. It’s difficult to find a good shop. I once thought County Line was. Go to GT Imports in Clemmons. They ’get it’!"
"Best mechanic around. Honest and fair. If he doesn't know, he finds someone who does. Great guy"
"Good work. Honest hard working garage. Chris and crew have always taken care of my vehicles and those of my family since he took over the shop. Just had a water pump go out and he had it fixed quickly, and charged a fair price and even asked me if I wanted additional services rather than just doing them and charging later. Also has two wonderful dogs in the shop with him on occasion. You might have to wait a bit, but good work, done cheap, isn't fast."
