Walmart Auto Care Centers

"I went for an oil change and the tech ripped off my water guard that protects my engine from debris, water ect. He didn’t tell me until I saw it in my trunk. He refused to put it back on and stated it was already like this which was not true since I had driven 7 hrs to Winston Salem and if it hanging I would’ve heard it and the plastic piece would’ve been ruined. I took it to get looked at and the shop told me they ripped it off the plastic nail pieces and that the nails was still there in place and to take it back. After talking to the store manager he told me to bring it back and they will fix it. They did yet when I needed a new oil change I got it done at another location In Newport News, Va and they did the same thing. I’m not about to keep taking my car to get this piece replaced due to Walmarts Auto Care team. They have to remove the guard to get to the oil filter ect. Now I’m about to complain to Corporate since they refuse to fix it and I will never return to their auto care center"

"Ordered 2 tires to be delivered and installed the next day. That didn't happen. Few days went by and I had new tires by then because I had no car and at a better deal without the multiple fees that add up to alot! Can't recommend them."

"Bought a battery and two terminals to have replaced. Go to the desk, they couldn't replace my terminals due to "corrosion"... ok, I return the terminals and leave. Went to AutoZone and the employee changed my terminals no problem, but I still have my old battery... went back and although the cashier remembered me, the other employee there continued to ask me about my receipt... after 15 minutes, cashier found my battery and I left... WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!"

"It's worth spending the $30 I saved to not deal with Walmart. Received notification from the app and email that my order was ready. Show up for my appointment, It's not. Reschedule appointment, get another notification that it's ready for install. Show up, it's not. Customer service thru the app is awful. Customer service thru the store is non existent, they won't answer the phone."

"Do yourself a favor and find anywhere but here to get tires changed. Sloppy, slow, unprofessional and unsupervised trainees. They scraped my center wheel caps and denied it. No surprise. Apparently the trainee wasn’t aware of wheel locks. The manager was a total waste of time. Whatever savings you think you are getting will cost you in the long run in time and damage. If you value your vehicle at all, pass on this Walmart."
