"I've been a happy patient of Rock Hill Modern Dentistry for 3 years. My former dentist was very thorough and understanding, the service was also always very quick. Despite moving cities, I stayed with this office due to this positive outlook, but today I had a horrible experience and I will not be back. I called to schedule a routine exam and cleaning 1 month in advance. When I arrive for my appointment, I am waiting over an hour just for them to tell me that I was accidentally scheduled for an emergency exam instead of a cleaning/check up. I scheduled 1 month prior, how is that an emergency? Additionally, I took time off work and drove 30 minutes just to have my time wasted. I saw a different dentist than who I had been seeing and she didn't even introduce herself when she came in asking me questions. The staff otherwise were all friendly and nice and let me know that there have been communication issues with a call center that schedules the appointments, so I don't blame them.. But, this experience was really negative and the lack of communication should be addressed."

"If you want to get ripped off, come here. They told me I had two cavities when I didn't. They told me I required a deep cleaning, which I didn't. I got a second opinion from another dentist office and found out I didn't have any cavities and only required a routine cleaning. Dentistry in America is all about money. Every dentist will give you a different perspective, but some things should be objective, such as whether or not you have cavities. Lying about a patient's cavities in order to gain more money from them should be considered malpractice. Edit - In response to the owner, I do not wish to speak with you and will not erase this review. People should be aware of other people's experiences with this sham of a dental clinic operated by a massive corporation that seeks to profit from individuals rather than provide necessary dental care."

"1st time patient, made appt during the night online, it was easy. When I arrived, Bria was warm and welcoming. Stephanie was also warm ,welcoming, and courteous. She made me feel at ease during my x-rays ( I am terrified of doctors) Dr. Golden was professional and welcoming. He did not rush my visit. Overall is a very welcoming environment. They made me feel like I was an established patient already that had been coming there for awhile. Everyone seems to love what they do and enjoy working as a team. I will definitely be returning"

"I held off getting a chipped molar crowned because I've heard so many horror stories. I knew I had to get it taken care of before it became a deeper fracture requiring a root canal. I must say I'm thankful to God that he led me to Rock Hill Modern Dentistry and Dr Kevin Golden. He numbed me completely and I didn't experience any pain or discomfort during the procedure.
