"Even though it was busy, the young lady was happy, smiling and was inviting to everyone. The curry goat was perfect. Not too fatty and very flavorful. The beef patty and coco bread were amazing. The greens were also deliciously prepared like calliloo. They also don’t skimp on portion size. The medium was enough for two people. Great experience."
"I had ordered uber eats prior to leaving work for the night knowing I will physically get there before they closed. They almost had ran out of all sides except the premium sides. They graciously subbed the quinoa and brown rice for the standard rice and peas. Also subbed the collard greens for the cabbage. I was presently surprised at the taste of both. I always get the same thing. The chickpeas were delightful as usual. Their customer service was awesome too. When I get a craving for vegan Jamaican (Ital) this is where I go. Thanks Angie’s!"
"I got the brown stew, subbed a side with Mac n cheese, and a beef patty. The food was quite good, and the portion size is good. I will note that the mac n cheese is slightly sweet. Still good just didn't expect it. The wait in line to order and pickup was fairly long. I think it took nearly 45 mins from arriving to pickup, so would try an online order next time to cut back on time."
"This was my first time at Angie's, though I've eaten at many West Indian places before. Jodi was very pleasant and had a big smile on her face, despite the steady stream of customers coming though. Usain Bolt, Bob Marley and I enjoyed our Brown Stew Chicken (the first time I visit any Jamaican place I start with this), rice and peas with steamed cabbage immensely. Angie herself brought out the plantains I had ordered separately. It's great to find someplace like this in the Bull City. I will definitely be back, as I still have to try the Curry Goat and the many other sides (the Mac n Cheese looked amazing). If you see the photo, I clearly enjoyed the chicken...."
