"Went to this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriends graduation from Cape Fear and our night took a disastrous turn. The service was absolutely terrible. The sweet tea had so much sugar in it it could have put someone in a diabetic coma. We ordered two burgers off the menu and the server and kitchen gave us the wrong order 3x. The cook said the server put the order in wrong and the server said the cooks made the wrong order. The server name was Jess and she seemed unconcerned, gave an insincere apology and lacked sympathy for her mistakes. She never introduced herself, she didn’t check on us to see how our food was, or ask us if we needed anything. She approached the table and only asked, “what do y’all want to order?” It was as if she was rushing us to leave. She only had 1 table(us) and there was a total of 6 people in the restaurant. She seemed more concerned with talking to the other servers than to do her job correctly. Also, the server didn’t ask us for the temperature of our burgers and mine and my bf was extremely pink in the middle and soggy, which can be harmful since I am pregnant. I took a couple of bites before I noticed this so I am praying I am okay but have had stomach cramps since. Obviously there was no real communication between the server and the kitchen staff. We did not have any crazy modifications because we ordered the burgers as they came on menu. I lost my appetite and my bf took his burger to go. Very disappointed ☹️"

"It's fantastic! A bit of an overwhelming variety of burgers on the menu, but they're all great choices. We kept it simple and loved our burgers and fries / onion rings, both are delicious. If you're in the mood for a burger, you've gotta try it!"

"Welcome to Monkey Junction! Been anxiously waiting for your opening. Came in tonight for the first time. Will definately return. I got the Bacon Jam Burger. Forgot too take a pic before I took a bite. My husband got the Steak burger."

"I love the Angus Grill downtown. This new one has to step up quickly. Was excited to go to the new one. Got the jalapeno popper burger. Took over half an hour to come out of the kitchen. It was lukewarm as were my tater tots. Friend's brisket sandwich was cold. No bacon on my burger that was supposed to be there and the toppings were minimal. Posting a pic from my plate and the website. Don't quite look the same. Will update after my next visit if it's improved!"

"Checked out the new 2nd location. Staff were nice. The AC broke down so it was like a sauna inside. We got the Fried Green Tomato and Bacon Jam burgers to-go with side of white potato and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries usually come with sugar on it and I asked for just plain sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, after we left, I realized the sweet potato fries had sugar added on it. They gave us a sweet sauce with the sweet potato fries. The white potato fries were more crispy compared to the sweet potato fries. The fried green tomato burger was as delicious as we had it from their first location. Never had the bacon jam burger before and it was a little disappointing. Didn’t care much for the bacon jam and the burger meat was a little dry. Both burgers were served on buns with poppyseeds and sesame seeds. I’ll just stick with the fried green tomato burger from now on."
