"Shuckin shack was visually pleasing and clean. Staff was initially average but our server was a superstar! She was pleasant and informative! If you are in Wilmington NC this is a great place to stop and enjoy the variety of oysters!"
"I ate every bite of all my delicious food. Wonderful staff, our waitress was super helpful with all the questions I threw her way about the oysters. So yummy! Definitely will go back."
"Shuckin' Shake Oyster Bar was okay. I wasn't expecting a crab boil per se. However, I guess I expected it to be a little more seasoned. It wasn't terrible by far. I just had high expectations. I did appreciate them having all of seasonings, spices, and hot sauces on the table. It helped a lot! The service was quick, and the pricing was extremely reasonable compared to other places that served seafood. They do provide daily specials, and you might get a thing of their 1lbs "Crab Stagglers" for a good price! All in all, as I write this review, they're actually a pretty good place. Please don't expect those Crab boil places that's been popping up from them."
"I didn't get the bartender's name, but she was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. I missed happy hour by 10 minutes, so don't follow my lead on timing. I did half dozen steamed oysters. Never had them before. Similar to steamed clams, especially when you dip in the butter. Did 3 blue points and 3 Carolina gold raw. Both were good. Probably would choose the Blue if I had to. Finished up with the blackened Mahi sandwich. It was cooked perfectly. Took me a minute to figure out what the sweet flavor was: the Cole slaw. Really good sandwich. The potatoes and sausage were a nice accompaniment."
"Great staff, great location and very good food. Had a relaxing lunch with a group of 6 friends. Great full bar with some house specialty. Everyone had a good time and loved the food. We wish the weather was a little better and we could have sat on the deck facing the river. Next trip."
