"I always liked the breakfast sandwich that had an over medium, fried egg on it. So I ordered it on this visit and was told that it was no longer available. I could have scrambled egg or no egg. I took the scrambled egg. Never again. It just isn't the same."
"Service was rough during this visit. Lots of employees standing talking to off the clock employees thst were visiting to what it appeared. Ordered soup, didn't get spoons. Heard t he preparing menton multiple times about forgetting stuff as our seat was neat prep area. An employee asked another that was talking to friends while sweeping to come help cause there were 6 orders waiting. He went from cleaning floor and table to preparing food, no washing of hands. One customer stood there for 10 minutes until asking where her food was and employee stated it's been on the table in back a while and never made it's way to pick up shelf. Soup was OK, grilled cheese was burnt and inedible. Baguettes were as solid as a rock."
"Had a to go lunch order. The Dr Pepper was flat and the broccoli cheddar soup was thin like water and had very little taste. Looked kinda like someone thinned it with water. Never had this happen at a Panera before. Very disappointing-"
"Panera Bread in Alcoa is worth stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or a quick dinner. The food is always fresh and consistent quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. Kudos to the staff at the Alcoa Panera Bread. The best dish I have had is the tomato soup and a grilled cheese! Also, the broccoli soup and potato soup! I highly recommend giving Panerai bread in alcoa a try!!!"
"Went in for lunch today and several of the things we wanted they were out of and we couldn't get. I settled on a smoked ham & gouda melt sandwich which was large but not really anything special. The dijon or horseradish sauce was very overpowering. The french baguette was crunchy and soft. They do bread very well. I did have a phenomenal bowl of french onion soup. Flavorful with gooey cheese and crunchy croutons that absorbed the soup and became soft. An onion explosion when you eat one. I love their french onion soup and it's constantly delicious. A regular size drink was $3.09 which is ridiculous for a regular size cup of Mountain Dew. There's good and bad here so you have to determine if it's for you. It's expensive and they are always out of stuff. I do however crave french onion soup and there's is top notch. Next time I'm just getting soup and bread. If that's what you want I reccomend a visit otherwise maybe try someplace else. This location needs to stop running out of stuff so the whole menu is available."
