"We have been boarding our doggie with Doggie-Do for a little over two years now for anywhere between 4-20 days at a time and cannot say enough good things. We have had behavioral issues with overnight boarding with our dog in the past and even occasional park aggression but have never had an issue with Doggie Doo. Each time, our dog seems genuinely excited to arrive at Doggie Doo, he doesn’t cry at night and hasn’t gotten into any squabbles. This establishment knows what they are doing. 10/10 would recommend. They have also done a wonderful job grooming our large dog!"
"The best grooming in the area. When I just got my little white Pom I went through the all groomer on ues. And I’m telling you , this place is amazing!! They go above and beyond with my baby. And even apply special alopecia ointment when bathing. Which requires processing time , massage, and gentle drying. Of you want your fur baby to get the best treatment , this place is for you !"
"I selected this place for first time grooming for a 5 mth old Maltese in Feb 2023. The pooch was dropped off and then picked up after 3.5 hrs as promised. The groomer was Angelica and she did a terrific job as a groomer; he looked trim, slim, whiter, and super-cute. The pooch just wanted to be out of the salon after the grooming session and willingly jumped into my bag. He did not seem to be distressed though and there were no injuries. He also was not depressed after we came home but knowing his personality, it was not a surprise. The owner seemed wise and quite old-fashioned. As much as there is kindness in his eyes, he seems to be a no-nonsense type person with unruly dogs, which may be unpalatable to some pet owners. I wish I was a fly on the wall to witness the grooming facility and how the grooming was carried out. I am sure it was not an easy job given the wiggly puppy. Just don't go by You Tube videos of how gentle the groomers can be as I am sure it is not like that everywhere. Cost-wise the salon is comparable to other places I called. So it all depends on your comfort with the facility overall to make it a regular salon."
"Having many options in NYC for dog day care, we decided on Doggie-Do for various reasons. The Staff is awesome! Always happy to see Melvin and I get a sense that they truly enjoy having him there! The price for day-care is reasonable and in line with other places. There is a back yard and overall clean in appearance. Melvin comes home wiped out! I highly recommend Doggie-Do to anyone considering daycare."
"We enrolled our dog here for their 10 session doggy day care trial run. Our dog was going there in the middle of winter between November and January. In mid January, when I brought our pup there, he started shaking and tucking his tail. At the time,I thought it was because he was cold and I did not have the proper jacket for him. Nyc was hitting -10 degrees at the time. Then it happened two more times. The last time I tried to bring him in, the moment he walked into the shop, he started whining, tucking his tail, and shaking. He tried to pull me towards the exit. I was completely shocked because I have never seen him display this type of behavior anywhere else. It clicked with me then that the only two times I have ever seen him display this type of behavior was when I was took him to this day care. I called the owner and told him concerns that something traumatic must have happened to my dog at his facility for him to behave this way. he assured me that he will look into this. He will show me tapes for all the days my dog was at his facility because he keeps tapes up to 30 days. A couple hours later, he called me back to tell me that he no long has the tape. Somehow the tape was "erased" Needless to say, I am extremely troubled by this. My dog is displaying behavior that indicates that he was traumatize at this doggy day care. The owner claimed he kept tapes and then all of sudden no longer have tapes. They offered me free sessions because he claims my dog could have been traumatized by his grooming session here. If that was the case, that is still problematic. I will not be taking my dog back here. I will not be recommending this place to anyone I know either."
