"Absolutely delicious- went for brunch with my dad. I had the breakfast wrap and he had the Retazitos breakfast. It was incredible!!! Adorable atmosphere too great for a date"
"Came for a single night event featuring two well known chefs collaborating. Wonderful modern Peruvian themed restaurant with expert staff and management. The dishes were well executed and paired lovely with their selection of wines and spirits. In house DJ really knew his crowd and made the dining experience so much fun"
"We went to The Cloisters for an afternoon and we’re feeling artistically inspired! The windchill was below 10° and on the way back, we simply wanted to go to the warmer indoors. Retazitos provides that perfect haven. With beautiful decor of vibrant colors it was an instant head nod from the group. We tried Papas Bravas for appetizer and Chaufa with pork belly for our entree which were both delicious. Papas Bravas in my opinion was a little bit of a let down, but that’s all right because Chaufa definitely made up for it. I would have tried a number of their other appetizers since almost all of them looked delicious! We slushed it all down with incredible cocktails. We shared two of them- El Estupido and another one with sea salt, can’t remember the name. Definitely loved both of them. They brought complimentary chips and salsa for the table, which were much appreciated by the group since we were all starving. And at the end- the check came out in the cutest sewing box. It definitely played into the quirkiness of the restaurant. The music initially was pretty loud that my Apple Watch started to notify me that “I was in a loud environment”. However, requesting to turn down the music, the staff complied and turned it down after a couple of asks. Their Yuka fries with truffles is something everyone should definitely order for the table."
"The food and drinks were delicious over all. The white fish ceviche and “La Estupida” drink are standouts. There happened to be a family party going on while I was here, so the atmosphere was a little lively, but could be to much if your looking for a quiet night. Over all, I’ll come back for the tasting menu since the food is good. The cream brûlée trio could be better, the caramelized sugar on top had gone soft from being refrigerated prior to serving. This restaurants food is worth trying, but it’s aspersions to be a more refined dinning experience have yet to be fully realized."
"I’ve Been dying for a good Cevichi place and it was nice they made this restaurant in the neighborhood. The deco is artsy and vibrate full of colors. I’m came early on Saturday to avoid the crowd. The different Cevichi each have their on select flavors to them. The dishes are beautiful and filled with much love with every bite."
