"I've been going to Vinegar Hill Vet for what must be 20 years or so...I have primarily seen Dr Neuman along with Dr. Adelman for my cats. They have always been super kind and caring during my regular visits as well as when I've had to make some difficult choices. Dr. Neuman was extremely patient and kind in helping me make those tough but right decisions. I also appreciate their honesty and straightforwardness. They are the best neighborhood vet in Brooklyn and I have recommended them to multiple friends who have also been very happy. "We were in Brooklyn with my family and 2 pups. One pup needed help (won’t gross you out with details) but he couldn’t go and he was incredibly uncomfortable. He’s a pit bull mix and some vets are reluctant and ignorant about the breed, but that was not the case here. The staff at Vinegar Hill were incredibly kind to my pup, as well as to us. They treated him in a manner that showed their respect for the intricacies and behavioral patterns of the breed, while not being presumptuous or scared due to his breed. Taking their time with him and reassuring him with affection (a tech literally laid down on the floor with him in the waiting room and patiently waited for him to become more comfortable). In return, my pup treated them like family and was an “affectionate flirt” with the staff according to the doc. Veterinarian Sara and her techs were thoughtful and accommodating throughout and while I don’t live in the area, I STRONGLY AND WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND this vet to pibble owners! A billion stars to Vet Sara and her team!"
