"With a bit of a secret entrance the House of Red Pearl is entered by pulling back a curtain at the rear of an Asian goods store to unveil the rich, red-walled intimate and inviting restaurant. It felt kind of like finding a hidden portal to a different part of the world, adding a touch of mystery to the experience. The ambiance is a fusion of crimson walls, plush seating, and enchanting lighting. As for the menu, the juicy chicken pot stickers live up to its name with each piece of succulent minced chicken encased in a delicate yet crispy wrapper. The vegetable and peanut spring rolls are a crunchy delight, filled with a medley of fresh vegetables and a slight peanut twist that adds a welcomed flair. The accompanying dipping sauce provided a zesty counterpart as well. Unfortunately, the smoked bacon fried rice was the unexpected hiccup in an otherwise delightful culinary narrative. Its peculiar taste leaves a puzzling note, and we found ourselves steering clear of it. Thankfully, the chicken with broccoli in ginger-garlic sauce swoops in with a flavorful rescue mission comprised of tender chunks of chicken intermingled with vibrant broccoli florets. The service here is not just a formality, it's an art. The staff is attentive, genuinely enthusiastic and the food arrives with perfect timing, ensuring you savor each moment without feeling rushed, unfolding at just the right pace. They take pride in curating an experience that is not just about sustenance but a celebration of artistry and flavor, making each diner feel like an honored guest."

"What a surprise when we accidentally found it behind the curtain inside the store! There were no available tables, so we grabbed only two free seats at the bar! I can’t tell the food was my favorite - beef noodles, cold sesame noodles and vegetable tofu spring rolls. Sesame noodles were the best of all three. Anyways, great experience!"

"We only had cocktails but they were excellent. We especially loved the ginger tequila scenario. Very good, with vanilla and salt on the rim. We loved loved the decor, what a beautiful place, and so cunningly hidden behind a turquoise velvet curtain. The staff was very attentive as well."

Noodle with nutty sauce was very good, and of a decent portion for sharing. Great cocktail options. The manager lady was very attentive and handled things with professional manner. Will definitely be back to try more dishes."
