Whippany Village Apartments

"Whippany Village apartment is a cozy small community, location is great, clean, neighbors are respectful. We moved in here when it was just being built and became our home for 2 years. it is a great place to live. There are no on site office staff , but the corporate office always keep us informed and update event happened on the site. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is prompt when problems are raised, attentive and responsive. Polo Express train service is active at special events and holidays, it runs from noon to evening , we love the holidays celebration , but the train noise was tremendous too loud, would it be kept it lower ??? "We lived here for a couple of years and loved it. The building is very clean, the appliances are relatively new, and the management team was always quick and responsive to everything that we asked about. It's also very accessible. My partner is in a wheelchair and the apartment layouts are very open and accommodating - including the shower (only a slight lip that can be rolled over). The management team even went above and beyond to install a handicap accessible door in the lobby with a remote key so that she would be able to come and go as she wished without requiring assistance. For fitness lovers, the gym is also substantial and always clean."

"This review is particularly for unit 210 with the balcony. The balcony is unusable in the summer. It is located directly above dumpsters and there is an insufferable amount of flies that congregate on our sliding door. The sliding door is also very hard to open from the outside. Although this issue was brought to their attention multiple times, nobody has ever did anything about it and we were tired of bringing it up with zero solutions being offered by management. Given the empty space below, expect construction noise for the next two to three years as more new tenants lease commercial space Monday through Friday. Unbearable if you work from home a lot. Good apartment on the inside. The balcony issues need to be known for the next tenant, hence why I am posting this review for their awareness."

"Just extended our time with Whippany Village by moving from our 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. Great location and friendly staff and neighbors! Like how we are starting to see the retail and businesses move in downstairs, we wanted a “busy” vibe in a suburban area without having to pay Morristown or Montclair pricing. Big kitchen space and love the shared lounge space in the lobby for entertaining when you want to host a bigger crowd. Can’t wait for Starbucks to open up too! Definitely a young and fun building for recently married couples."

"Whippany Village is a great rental option in the area. My wife and I have lived here for almost a year and have enjoyed it without complaints. The apartment is well equipped, in new condition, and has a well thought out layout. The area is very accessible being right off Route 10 but connected to the Whippany suburbs so there are multiple parks within a few minutes walking. As more stores open up downstairs it will become a more self sustaining development, hopefully not at the expense of the calm atmosphere we have thus far lived with. The Polar Express Train ride occurring during the end of the year was sometimes chaotic but overall made the area feel more lively, especially if one has kids. We do face the south direction so at the cost of direct sunlight for plants, we have a beautiful view of lush trees and the rarely used railroad tracks (except for special events as mentioned above). Management has always been very responsive to us and attentive to our questions. One of the cons which is at no fault to management is the hard water coming to this greater Parsippany area causing drier hair and water spots on dishes. But with a gym, reserved parking, outdoor seating, in unit washer drier, the large windows, and friendly neighbors this is a fantastic place to call home!"
