"The Keurig coffee machine in the room was full of maggots as shown in my video and picture posted in this review. Unfortunately, I did not realize that until after I already used it once and drank the tea. It was beyond disgusting. They changed it for me but even though the new one ddid not have maggots, it was not clean either. So I did not use it at all. The location of the hotel is great if you're craving Chinese food; you have countless options around you."

"Disappointing Experience at Hotel Insigna – Lack of Hospitality and Helpfulness Firstly, the interaction with the staff and the manager was disappointing. A basic attitude of friendliness and helpfulness, which is expected in the hospitality industry, seemed to be lacking here. Especially when dealing with specific needs and requests, there was no understanding or accommodation shown. A critical example of this was the inability to open the windows of the room even halfway. This may seem like a minor detail to some, but for people with certain health issues, it can make a significant difference. Unfortunately, our concerns in this regard were ignored, indicating a lack of willingness to address the individual needs of guests. These experiences significantly marred my stay at Hotel Insigna. It is disappointing and concerning that an established hotel neglects such fundamental aspects of hospitality. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for the hotel to improve its service quality and customer orientation. Until then, I advise potential guests to consider these experiences when planning their stay."

"Enjoyed the hot water and coffee available at all times in the lobby. That was really nice in the mornings and evenings. Very close to 8th avenue subway (3min walk) so we took the N into Manhattan everyday of our vacation. If you enjoy Chinese street food there are evening street cart vendors selling kebabs. Tons of Chinese food options and fruit vendors down the street. Rooms were modern and super clean which we appreciated! Lots of shelving in the bathroom. Room was a little small but comfortable and cozy, I really just cared that it felt clean and new, which it did."

"We stayed in Insignia for four days in October and had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good. Very close to subway for those interested. They let us check in a few hours early which was very helpful. Valet'd our bags when we had to check out before our flight was due. Our room was perfect for what we needed. My only quip is that I left my best phone charger! And didn't realize it until it was too late."

"My partner and I stayed at Insignia Hotel Brooklyn for five nights this October on vacation and I was very satisfied with the hotel and the workers there. Extremely convenient access to the subway (the N goes from the 8th Av. station all the way through Manhattan). Quiet part of town. The room, while small, was very clean and well maintained, and access to discount valet parking was convenient. Service gets bonus points for being very prompt mailing me a few clothing items I'd left when we checked out!"
