"This store has a good variety of products, it is clean and parking is ample. It is usually not very crowded and they sell alcohol (beer, wine)."
"Amazing! Love the international products, especially the Belgium chocolate."
"I love this place because of the prices and the variety. It's clean and organized. I can find food and decor and supplies for the house. The only thing is they should really have more cashiers available when it gets busy."
"It's a nice place to get groceries. A huge space with a good quantity of food products, household items, cookware, and miscellaneous items, all for a great low price. A huge selection at the bakery brings wonderful smells into the air. The only downside, in my opinion, is the location. Terrible traffic to the location."
""If Ikea was a grocery store with a dollar store isle." Ikea comparison is fair, dollar store comparison unfair but Lidl does have bins of non-food household items which to me seem 'dollar store-ish' but items are not a dollar. Low-cost yes, but not a dollar. Ikea comparison Like Ikea, you will most certainly feel excitement or possibly disoriented by the European feel and layout of Lidl. Front of the store is floor to ceiling glass front (and it's a very high ceiling) you might experience in a high end auto dealer. Isles are wide-wide-wide! I have no doubt you could drive a car through the Lidl store isles they are so wide. Similar to Ikea and counter to US supermarkets there are large, modern, very clean bathrooms located at the entrance complete with water fountain. My experience with US supermarkets is that bathrooms are hidden in corners, on the edge of what you call clean and often single toilet unisex. As this comparison suggests, Lidl is a very different supermarket. Right beyond the bright, window entrance is a bread and pastry case. They have a really neat bread slicer you can use to slice your whole loaf of bread and choose between three different slice thicknesses, it's very cool. I've also seen jelly donuts, pretzels, turnovers and various other pastries. The produce section is pretty nice too. I did reach for a softish head of broccoli which I declined to purchase but still a lot of other nice produce selections. I have seen rainbow carrots - yes, orange, yellow, red purple carrots - where else could you buy this? I didn't find it on my last visit but appreciated Lidl stocking this item. No fresh deli, cheese or fish counters, everything is in refrigerated or frozen bins. You'll may notice employees stocking shelves, similar to what you might find at Trader Joes, the key difference and a simple approach that keeps stocking items simple and quick, many items remain in their shipping boxes, employees just cut the top and viola, products are on the shelf. To summarize, Lidl provides a differentiated shopping experience from most US groceries, prices are very reasonable. You could shop nicely for one to four people with some bulk items available but seems to be geared towards medium to small families. They do sell beer and also household items."
