"The service here was horrible. It took forever to take our order. No one ever came to check on us or refill our drinks. I also had to flag someone down to get the check. One dish came out first and we finished it before the other dish came out. The roast pork with rice was meh. The vegetables were so bland and tasted boiled with no seasoning. The spicy beef chow fun was not the least bit spicy and was so bland and greasy. We had to douse it with soy sauce for it to be edible. Would never come back here again."
"So we tried this new place for an early dinner bcuz my boy wanted meat over rice. It was fairly close to where we were shopping, and there were decent reviews. Thinking back, I should have run the other way upon seeing all the advertisements. There were ads about them being #1 serving meat over rice, etc on the front door as well as on the sign on the pavement. We were greeted in English when we came in. Another bad sign in my book. However I responded in Cantonese. It was a very cold day so I was grateful that we were seated in a well heated table. There are 3 seating sections. We sat nearest the entrance. Single seating is in the middle while large groups are seated in the back of the restaurant. I ordered meals off the menu in Cantonese for both of us. Mine was perfect and hot! I was not happy with the vegetables served in my boy's meal. It was cheap boiled unseasoned cabbage rather than good choy sum. Iykyk! Service was good. There were tacky posters of dishes with advertisements for a delivery app at each table. From the customers we saw, this place serves mostly non Asian tourists. I would not return. I prefer places serving mostly Asian clientele for authenticity."
"We went to Chinatown to have roast duck with noodle soup. Along with that, we also ordered roast pork over rice and string beans in garlic sauce. The duck was delicious, but the noodle soup was somewhat bland. I've had better noodle soup at other restaurants. However, my husband really enjoyed his pork over rice. Unfortunately, the string beans arrived after we had finished our meal, so we only managed to taste them before leaving."
"The food was disappointing. I had the charsiu, roast crispy pork and roast duck over rice. The meats were dense and not tender at all. They poured a scoop of soy sauce (probably from the charsiu) over the duck. Most of the roast duck had very little meat, they even gave me the neck. The crispy pork's skin was crispy but thin and flavorless (the meat was flavorless too). The service was okay, not too chatty. I didn't have enough cash, so had to pay by credit card and they charged me a fee. On their credit card machine, they had it defaulted to 20% tip. The lowest option was 18% or change it to "Custom" and you can change it to less I guess, but hard to do with them standing there right next to you. Most likely not going back there again with all the better and cheaper options around in Chinatown."
"The prices are very reasonable. I ordered roast duck won ton noodles. There were a lot of noodles but I found the broth was very bland. The won ton was okay. I would go back but would try something else. I ordered beef chow fun to go. I do not like my food salty but theirs was too bland and needed soy sauce which they didn't include."
