"After having ordered takeout from this restaurant multiple times, I finally dined in for the first time, and I must say that every dish I tried was truly exceptional. Despite the seemingly high prices, the quality exceeded that of many other Chinese restaurants in New York with similar price points. The seafood soup, in particular, impressed me with its generous portions of various seafood varieties; I would undoubtedly order it again. As for the beef stew and turnip casserole, it left me absolutely astounded."
"I've been here twice and haven't had anything to complain about either time. The food and portions are good. It's family style so bring an appetite to really appreciate multiple dishes. Pro-tip: Say Yes if they ask you if you'd want a shareable table, unless you want to wait a while on a busy night. The tables are large enough that it doesn't make a difference."
"A gem on the outskirts of Chinatown. Being that it's on Delancy and Allen Streets, the prices will be high. My veggie fried rice which only had a smattering of egg pieces cost $16. But the portion was large. In Chinatown, it would have been $11. Anyway, it wasn't greasy or salty or, worse, burnt. Tasted all the veggies: broccoli, peas, celery, and corn. After eating the whole thing by myself, I didn't get the "heavy" feeling one normally gets from eating fried foods. Maybe this was because it wasn't greasy and salty. The place is unique. It has 3 floors and a bar. The bottom floor can hold a party of 20 and a party of 10 at the same time. So if you have a lot of people, you can throw your private party here. Plus it's also closer to the bar...."
"Good Cantonese food for groups! Someone else did most of the ordering, but the food came out quickly and the service was overall fine. The atmosphere looked like its geared more for groups, since most of the tables that I saw were large and had lazy Susan's, which made it easy to share the plates. Don't expect to be able to get anything spicy here, but beyond that, everything I tried was really good. A list of some of the things we got and that I recommend: -Honey Walnut Jumbo Shrimp -sauteed manila clam with black bean sauce -salted fish, chicken, and eggplant in casserole -beef chow fun noodle -pork fried rice -short rib with black pepper sauce on sizzling hot plate -fried pork ribs with garlic flavor Also got these, but I won't necessarily recommend them (we needed greens to balance out the meat): -General Tso Chicken -Egg Drop soup -soft bean curd in Sichuan style (mapo tofu) -Sauteed chinese green vegetable -sauteed bok choy with garlic -sauteed string bean with garlic"
"The best and closest restaurant to go to for takeout or a nice sit down meal if you're parking at the DOT lot. They have a wide variety of food, all which are good. I usually get the house special chicken with rice, or the baked mushroom with chicken and rice order to go. This time, I sat down in the morning for breakfast. Not only did I order the baked mushroom with chicken, I also got the beef casserole which is extremely good!! The food comes in a very well presented bowl which is really nice to see. I want to order more to see what else they have lol! The food can get a little greasy, but nothing an order of plain white rice can't fix. It absorbs it so well and makes the rice really flavorful. Not to mention the interior design of the whole restaurant is splendid. Sitting down felt very peaceful and grand. Will be going back!"
