"Don't bother - maybe we got super unlucky, but we had poor food and worse service, better options are out there. --- The service was not good. When I picked up my order several bags were waiting at the counter with 3 people hanging around behind but only helping one customer. I waited for a while and they finally acknowledged me and I said I was there for pickup. The lady gave me a smug look (like I was a nuisance for being there) and turned my bag toward me and nudged it my way and looked away from me. I tried to ignore it but then we tried the food and it tasted bland, not fresh, and the scallion pancake may have been the worst I've tried in the past 10 years - rubbery and unappetizing. The sauce tasted mostly like soy. The other items were below expectations and my wife simply said she couldn't eat any more. I can't believe we paid so much for such sub par food. I was hoping this could be our go-to place for takeout, but instead we'll never be back and will advise friends to choose elsewhere."

"Impossible xiao long bao/soup dumplings! These are the first and only vegan soup dumplings I’ve found in the city. I missed soup dumplings so much and these ones were everythinggg! I will be back for more!"

"The Xiao long bao were okay but especially in New York it’s possible to find better ones, so we would probably not return. The pak choi that we had on the side was good. The service was friendly and fast."

Now, you can have amazing dumplings plus anything you want at Friedman’s. Win, win! Soup dumplings are a must!"
