Reviews
"The ambience was great and the staff friendly. Pay with cash and get a 10% discount. I got the 2 bbq combo duck and pork, chicken Shumai and pork buns. They were regular."
"Visited this restaurant recently and found some positive aspects. The location is excellent, the interior is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is cozy. However, I found the food to be merely acceptable. The restaurant shares its kitchen with the neighboring establishment. Customers can observe the food preparation from outside, providing a unique and engaging experience, whether they choose to dine in or take their food to go. Overall, it's a mixed experience for me."
"Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience for me. This relatively new Chinese restaurant has a quite nice interior. And the staff is friendly and attentive. Sometimes maybe too ambitious to remove every cleared plate from your table as soon as possible. I was still chewing, when they snatched a plate from my table. And the teapot wasn't empty when they removed it. But I already had enough, so no harm was done. Unfortunately, the most disappointing parts of my visit were the dumplings. The pasta dough was incredibly sticky and gooey. The rice noodle rolls stuck together like one big pile of dough. It was impossible to eat them separately. And the fillings were incredibly bland. Truffle tasted more like mushrooms, roasted pork like bacon and the roasted duck had no distinctive flavor profile, at all. Only the crab meat dumplings had a good taste. But then again, the dough was too thick. So in the end I had a clump of dough in my belly. And most of the taste came from the condiments they serve with the dumplings. The big names in the dim sum business can do it way better."
"When we got there, we had looked around. People just ordered dim sum or something from the menu. We had took advantage of their promotion and ordered whole peaking duck, lobster and salmon caviar fried rice. When the foods arrive, people been asking us what are those? We told them we had ordered their promotions dishes. Other people started to follow us and ordered their promotions dishes as well. When our bill came, someone had messed up and charged us full price. Luckily we saw that and had let them know. They had apologize and straighten things out for us. We will go back and order the other 3 dishes which is Vancouver crab, truffle fried rice and lives sea bass."
"I really enjoyed eating here. I love the price of the dim sum and everything we tried was really delicious (shrimp dumpling, tiny bun, sesame bun, pork bun). I didn’t like the sticky leaf dish as much as I was hoping—too much meat and not enough rice. I love the atmosphere but it’s a little too bright; really I’d like to give it a 4.5. I didn’t try the lobster but my boyfriend scarfed it down."
