"What a vibe! This place is cozy but so lively. I stopped in for a take out order. The staff is young and bubbly, they were all very nice. I ordered a steak quesadilla, shrimp tacos, elote corn bowl and a shrimp & crab meat empanada. All of the food was very delicious. The tacos are a bit small but over all I was happy. I also ordered two mojito classicos which they did not skimp on the alcohol. I plan to go back for a dine in experience with my girlfriends."

"I loved everything about this place. The vibe. The decor. The servers/bartenders. The drinks. The food. It’s a 10/10 to me. During my visit I ordered a seafood empanadas. It was good but don’t expect fresh crab meat. They definitely use imitation crab meat. The elote with mayo was top tier. I love fresh corn. This lived up to my expectations. I ordered 3 tacos; shrimp, steak and pork. All were seasoned properly, garnished with fresh tasty ingredients. The drinks are CHEAP & tasty but they’re small. You can add a shot to any drink for an additional $5. I ordered the coconut margarita, top shelf margarita & a frozen margarita with a shot of don. I will definitely return to this location every time."

"I checked out El Coco's Chelsea location last night and truly enjoyed everything from the service, to the food, and especially the drinks. Our server was Carlos and he was a great help when we asked for recommendations or suggestions off of the menu. We tried the El Coco Margarita which is a coconut flavored margarita (as per his recommendation) and it was delicious! Definitely will order more when I go back. It's so cute inside & of course they play great music! They have a location on the UWS and and Hell's Kitchen. We were told that Fridays & Saturdays they have a DJ, so we will definitely be back!!"
