"Stopped by to check this place out since my gf lives in the area. Honestly pretty mediocre, especially for the pricing food wise. I can’t speak to the drinks as I didn’t have any besides water (go figure). Ambience is nice and service was quick and decent, nothing to talk about, just someone doing their job and little else. I got chicken enchiladas with red sauce, the red sauce was decent but overall dish was not well done. The rice and beans were NOT good, which was surprising to me. If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant and are in desperate need of some, sure. However, if you can take a second and look around, plenty of better options for the same price point for Mexican food in NYC."

"After seeing "Moulin Rouge", My husband and I were walking back towards New York Penn Station and decided we were hungry! The sound of salsa music pulled me in to Patron! I could not resist! It was an excellent choice. I remember commenting to my husband while we were there just how friendly the staff was. Super attentive! The atmosphere was very relaxing and colorful! We both ordered tostadas because we were looking for a lighter choice. Perfect! Their guacamole looked delicious, though, and I think I might want to get that next time. I enjoyed a white peach margarita and it was everything I hoped it would be!"
