"The best South Indian food in NYC. Every dish you could want is served by incredibly gracious staff. The mango lassie was deliciously rich with mango pulp and the lollipop chicken was fried to perfection."
"The overall food here is amazing. The mango lassi is divine. The most favorite dish is the mutton sukka. Captures good essence of chettinad region of Tamil Nadu."
"You will love the atmosphere and the food. Both have a homely vibe and the staff is excellent. We came here for a birthday celebration and we couldn't stop eating. The food is fresh and very filling. The chicken365 is crunchy and very very moist when you bite into it. The portion sizes are perfect. I recommend sharing all the dishes on the table so you can experience all the different dishes."
"Loved the food. It is better than India anjappar even was taken back by the quality of the food. Loved the mutton keema stuffed in the dosa and the chutney was just mind blowing. The chettinad chicken was so juicy and tasty though a bit oily but it’s good . Highly recommend it. I didn’t have a chance to try seeraga samba briyani as it wasn’t ready but loved the chicken briyani (basmati) it was so flavourful and tasted great just like we make at home with right amount of spice . I will for sure visit again and loved the service."
"Had a lovely and welcoming experience and seated by the waiter and waitress (Chanakya & Vimala) atmosphere is nice, feels like restaurant from back home. Food was delicious and definitely yummy. Will recommend friends and family who are visiting the U.S. Staff named Archana was lovely checking up on us and checking if we need anything. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the amazing food served for my wife and i. We ordered kerala parotta and chicken curry which was finger licking good. Mutton biriyani and payasam was amazing. Definitely a must try place."
