"Went for late lunch close to 3pm on a weekday, restaurant was nearly empty. Ordered two lunch sets - the lamb kurma and chicken tikka (came in sizzling hot plate) which came with naan and rice to go with the curries. Lunch set came with onion Bhaji for starter and a mango rice dessert. Food was flavorful and I especially liked the naan which had a strong ghee flavor with nice crisp and chewiness to the bread. The decor of the restaurant could be improved as the lighting was quite dark, but the food is good and value for money. We paid $25 for the food (2 lunch sets) including tip. The city has good food for value places if you know where to look - this is one of them!"
"The food is delicious and the owner is very kind! I love when Indian restaurants have cheese naan, it went amazing with the butter chicken. Also, very reasonably priced. I came alone but the service was very welcoming and made my experience comfortable."
"It was my first time going to an Indian restaurant. Fell in love with Indian food! Highly recommend vegetables Samosas ( just perfect amount of spice), Chicken tikka and Butter chicken were delicious ( butter is definitely for those who like it a little sweeter ) and Garlic naan amazing. The owner was nice and polite. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you!"
"Amazing quality good for shockingly good prices. My jaw dropped to read $4.95 for a glass of their house red wine. In the village, people! We ended up getting the half carafe for $11.95 and it was plenty of wine for two people! Each dish is reasonably priced at $12-17 range including rice. We had to be rolled out of there! The staff tried to offer us free dessert as well but we had a show to catch. As for the atmosphere, it’s very hole in the wall but inviting and had a calm, welcoming vibe. It’s a place to relax and enjoy the flavorful food! Will be back!"
"Best Food for Dollar in the Village. Living in the village it's hard to find good meals that aren't crazy expensive. This place gives you great tasting good for a great price. The atmosphere is classic also, highly recommend. Left full and happy. They have multiple full meal lunch specials for under $10. And for anyone who hasn't ordered Indian before, get chicken Tikka Masala. It's basically chicken in a delicious cream sauce with bread and rice."
