"Tonight was the second time we ate at Utsav. We visit NYC infrequently, but this restaurant will always be part of the experience for us. The restaurant is pretty, the staff is friendly and happy to make recommendations. My favorite dish is the Chicken Angarey. It is spicy, with just the right amount of heat. The chicken is SO tender! I highly recommend! The cocktails were terrific, too. You can't go wrong here!"

"Went for some appetizers and drinks. The food tasted very good (I like spicy food and it was spicy). Quick service. Good quality. Decent atmosphere. Expensive though. Loved the crispy babycorn and chicken kali mirch kebabs. For drinks had the feni jungle. Interesting cocktails served."

"The lamb biryani was full of flavor，like it. However，when I tried the butter chicken，one piece was not fully cooked. It looked raw inside. I don’t recommend this place because they auto charged you 18%gratuity when the server didn’t even care to serve. We had to go to another desk to refill our water and they never asked how’s the food. Just brought you the food. That’s it. The service didn’t worth 18% tips."

"Utsav is a nice place to get food. The menu is not marked for allergens or spice intensity. I only gave 3 starts instead of 4 or 5 because I wasn't aware that most of their (chicken) dishes seem to be SPICY which I can't tolerate so from the several items we ordered, I couldn't tolerate it. We also asked about gluten free options, just a few items were pointed out from the menu and with not alot of regard. If you don't have allergies, and love spicy food, this is the place for you. They also automatically add an 18% gratuity, just to be aware of this."

"We went there in a big group with approx 15-17 people. The server was good with interaction but not helpful with suggesting group what to order, explaining sizes of the portion. Later server and her assistant both were just putting food on table, no checking on people, no follow up and worst service as if they favoring us. Their final check has tip included and therefore they don’t care to serve people as regardless they getting tip. Moreover, food is just average, if you not coming here, you not missing anything. When back in days this place used to be good so when i was visiting after 4 years, i was excited to try out but not worth for all excitement."
