"Very satisfying hike with an outstanding view at the top. It's not easy, but not super hard. Took us about 3 hours at a leisurely pace."
"Decent trail for a short hike. The view is worth it. Listed as moderate but the trail has a lot of rock in it and almost all uphill. Nice 1.7 mile hike from Panorama parking lot. Over 1200 foot elevation gain. Im 53 my daughter 24. I hike and walk about 15 miles a week normally. Took us just over an hour going up, not rushing just enjoying the views. Only about 50 minutes to get down. So about 2.5 hours including a break, snack, and enjoying the view at the top."
"Gorgeous view from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains, definitely worthwhile to hike up to it if you enjoy a rugged hike rewarding a beautiful outlook!"
"Roughly an hours (1.8mi) hike up with plenty of rocks and at an incline. Make sure you wear shoes with strong soles and have lots of water! Otherwise the top boasts fresh, cool air and a pretty view. Dogs are allowed on the hike but they need to be on their leash. Would definitely come back during the Fall when the leaves start to change color!"
"My favorite hike of all time! It was my first ever when I was little and I've returned often with excellent memories each time. The view is incredible and worth seeing. It's not too long so you could hike it in a morning or afternoon easily. I recommend heading up from the 2nd way up and not panorama because it's faster and easier!"
