"I had my first visit with nurse practitioner Kim Brooks. She was so kind and knowledgeable. When I asked about my IUD placement due to an x-ray image, she explained that x-rays often make it look like IUDs are misplaced due to the shape and positioning of the uterus. Since everything looked okay in person, I didn't have any discomfort, and I had an ultrasound less than a year ago, she didn't think it was necessary to get another one. However, she made it clear that if I was concerned, she would schedule an ultrasound for me. I think it's so important that clinicians give their medical opinion *and* listen to patients' desires. I also asked for recommendations for other doctors since I'm relatively new to the area and she wrote some down for me. Everyone at the practice was very kind and I was called back at my appointment time. I would definitely recommend this office for basic gynecological care (as I can't speak on anything else) and I will surely be back for my next annual."
"I have been to this clinic for over 10 years and they delivered all three of my babies! Every doctor is always so professional and kind. I will never go anywhere else!"
"Everyone is so nice and helpful. The NP I see is so kind and relatable. You can tell she loves her job and cares about her patients."
"After my last pap, the doctor said I didn't need another one for 5 years and never said I needed to make any checkup appointments until then. I called to make an appointment due to cramping and was told I would be considered a new patient because I have not been there in 3 years and my usual doctor isn't taking new patients. If they specifically say that you don't need another pap in 5 years, they shouldn't remove you as a patient after 3 years. If a check up is required within those 3 years, they should have told me that or sent a reminder."
"If you want a low intervention office for a low risk pregnancy not the place. One refusal of a urine sample at 24 weeks and they transfer care. Might I add the provider didn’t even want to finish the appt. The nurses half way check babies heartbeat and that’s when they can find it, half the time they can’t. Most the office nurses are pleasant but plan to do everything the providers way with no open communication."
