"I had to park my car in the Falling Creeks Iron Works parking lot to visit the park. I saw nothing but thugs milling about, but that wasn't until I got out and walked towards what to me, was the most obvious path into the park and avoided a group of them before they took any notice of me. I've been in some very rough places, and have only felt my instincts tell me to leave a few times. This was one of them. I did not visit the park, and never will return. Go and see the reviews on the park here, and you'll see one reviewer posted pictures of shell casings on the entry road to the park. Another reviewer stated that a county park employee told them to get out of there since she was alone. Shocker. There is no way in hell I would ever bring my kids to this place or recommend that anyone visit the adjacent park BECAUSE of these apartments. The Latin store, that I later discovered on the way out to be where you would have to walk around as one way to get to the park is so-so. Still not a great place to have people route through to get there, but on it's own without the apartments as a backdrop would make ingress and egress to the park 100x safer. I go on Facebook and search for posts about these apartments. All I see is news and police posting reports of shooting, robbery, etc. And a picture of a front door with multiple bullet holes in it. Absolutely a shame that a really cool park is bordered by this place."

"Reading the reviews before moving in had me very skeptical. I am very new to chesterfield and didn’t have a clue about the neighborhoods in there current conditions and didn’t know how to obtain that info without feeling like I was being lied to or someone completely tearing the complex down from a false or previous bad experience. So I just decided to go into the rental and take shot at it. When I walked in, there was two really nice women in there that greeted me as soon as walking with such and inviting tone which made me feel at ease. I ended up being help by Fatima which she jumped to giving me tour and instantly noticed how quiet the neighborhood was and how the community was very involved with each other. After the tour I was kinda sold and was ready to get started with paperwork and Fatima was very helpful throughout the whole process as she guided me all the way through up until move in she gave me her personal phone in case I needed anything and she always got back to me in a timely manner answering all of the questions i needed without any hassle. Now let’s talk about move and apartment conditions, I had only one issue that got me, and I’m not sure why this was done but one of my counter tops was painted with regular paint to cover up a defect, I just didn’t understand why they didn’t just leave it but other than that the apartment was very clean and spacious. There is no central air but the air conditioning provided happens to very effective so that was a plus. There are water bugs and what’s considered flying roaches I guess and I’ve been here a little over a month and have only seen about 2 and from what I was told they offer send people to spray they have already been here once and since then I have seen one but all in all I like the neighborhood and experience has been great I recommend to anyone that is looking for affordable living and is looking for a good neighborhood that’s perfectly in between downtown and midlothian"
