"Amazing! Full spacious suite with cathredral ceilings, full kitchen, and sitting area that goes out to a balcony overlooking the beautiful view. Completely quiet. You enter through a covered walkway that separates the retreat from the main house through its own entrance...so if you are looking at the picture of the house, the whole left side is the retreat. Really great kitchen if you want to cook...we could only take one night away from our kids, but I think this would be perfect for a multinight stay to go explore the vineyards, breweries, and nature. Uber does come here as well."
"I love this special spot on the top ridge of Blue Ridge Mountain, overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. The main building has the look of unique and charming hunting lodge. The Retreat is an adjoining efficiency apartment that has all the conveniences and overlooks the Pool and the Valley. Winchester, VA lies of in the distance, about 20 miles away. Further across the Valley lie the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and West Virginia, of which Foxglove has a stellar view. Bring you binocs! Great pool. It's old, but well maintained, and filled with Blue Ridge Mountain springwater pulled from deep within the granite of the Mountain."
