The Diplomat Apartments

"I've lived in The Diplomat for 2 years and I love it! Daisha and everyone in the office/maintenance team are so friendly and considerate. I've had a small handful of issues (e.g., leaking A/C unit, running toilet) and they've always been so prompt in sending someone over. When my A/C unit was leaking they replaced the entire unit with a newer model the same day I put the request in. I'd really recommend The Diplomat to everyone as well as the management group more generally! One amazing touch is that they sometimes give us little treat bags for movie nights or for holidays like halloween (e.g., we got a bag with candy and microwave popcorn for a movie night). It honestly delights me every time I open my door and find it!"

"Living in the Diplomat for the past few years has been a wonderful experience. The layout of the units are designed nicely so that you usually do not hear your next door neighbors. The kitchens are small but very manageable once you get use to working in a tight space. Maintenance is amazing and responds to inquires quickly. No issues so far with the building!"

"(July 2021) I moved in this past week and so far it’s been great! Nice neighbors, lovely staff, safe location. I am on the top floor about mid-hall and have barely heard anyone else. The walls seem to be thick (no neighbor noises) it’s awesome! Special shout out to Daisha. Work with her! She is amazing, so friendly and literally the reason I chose to live here. All of the staff seems great- I have really just only worked with her since the beginning. The building seems to do some special communal events - we are doing a movie watching event now, which is fun! It’s nice to be in a place that feels like home, with people who are excited for you to be here."

"I've lived at The Diplomat for almost 4 years and have really enjoyed it. The front desk staff is always responsive and so is the maintenance team. Plus the building is very quiet, you rarely ever hear your neighbors. The updated gym and new rooftop deck was also a nice added bonus!"

"The building is a bit older and there aren't a bunch of fancy amenities like the new apartments have, but those places are a dime a dozen and honestly, how often are you going to rent out the common area in your building? The Diplomat has the best management and maintenance staff that I've ever encountered in all my years as a renter, and by no small margin. The location is great being right across from Meridian Hill Park, it's a smaller building with friendly tenants, but the staff is what sets it apart. I've lived at the Diplomat for 3 years now and have no plans to move anytime soon."
