"We recently stayed at The Chapel Bay property through Ocean Sands Realty. The home was not cleaned at all before we showed up and had a severe ant infestation. We had to stay in a hotel that night instead, and Ocean Sands will not refund us for the missed night on their property. Even though it was no fault of ours. We had numerous problems and disruptions our whole stay. The management in the office at Ocean Sands could not take even one second of their time to return a phonecall to us. After weeks all we recieved was a worthless email with no resolution just a basic deal with it attitude. The home was in bad disrepair and very dirty overall we even took videos and pics of how bad the home was during our stay and sent them to housekeeping management. There was window screens broke, closet doors broke, stained lampshades/blinds, water damage on window cils, broken or non working blinds/shades, water damage stains on ceilings, pool table has very little felt, furniture needs replaced, half the sliding doors didnt work, washing machine was loaded with mold/mildew, some areas on the outside deck were very weak, extremely stained carpet, kitchen floor had gaps in wood flooring which moved when you walked on them, dead bugs on ceilings, burn holes in some furniture and carpet, most air vents were extremely dusty, walls very dirty, and a large black burn on deck railing.We had to eat out our whole stay as we didnt have use of the kitchen due to ants. We had to sweep up ants every single day. We also had no use of the tiki bar and one of the bedrooms due to ants. Every employee sent to the property was severly apologetic and said we shouldnt have to go through this and was as upset we were. Which consisted of 3 housekeepers, a pest guy, a landscape guy and a carpet cleaner. So we had very little privacy during our stay. The housekeeping manager and all the office staff were rude and very unprofessional. That same hk manager accused me of calling one of the housekeepers a derogatory name. We will never recommend Ocean Sands to anyone so they do not have a terrible experience with them as we have."
