"I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for rentals in the Crozet/Charlottesville area. The leasing staff are difficult to work with and seem to want to do the bare minimum for the residents. The mail room and package delivery system was unorganized, resulting in frequently lost packages and difficulties in retrieving items that were delivered. Upon move out, our security deposit was kept due to "pet staining". Despite stated in the lease and by Rex that a professional company assess and cleans carpet at move out, this was not done. Our pet never soiled the carpet and the rug was completely free from staining. The company was using stains seen on the underside of the rug to keep the deposit. I have lived in numerous rentals throughout the years and have never had a company that is so difficult to work with and cares so little about the tenants."

"I have lived in the Summit Apartment Complex for almost a year. The view outside my living room and bedroom window is sensational throughout the year. The mountain and the weather change the review daily and sometimes hourly. The Apartment is spacious and I am comfortable. The events hosted by the Office Staff are so much fun and you meet your neighbors. There are so many trails to walk."

"This is Patty Shaver. My husband, Joe, and I moved into the Summit nearly two years ago after selling our house in Lake Monticello. We were one of the first residents. I had looked into several other apartments in Charlottesville, but all were lacking something. Then we toured the Summit and fell in love. Not only was it brand new and beautiful, but only 2 blocks from our daughter and grandchildren. You cannot find anything in Charlottesville to compare size wise and price wise to the Summit. The amenities and staff here are amazing. We've made wonderful friends here and are enjoying the beautiful Crozet area."

"I love this apartment complex! I am currently looking for a new apartment since I am moving out of state and keep comparing my potential apartments with my current apartment. I have read a lot of horror stories in reviews at other apartments and can honestly say I have never had a single problem at this complex. I wish I didn’t have to move and recommend it to all my friends! The area is very safe, friendly, and clean. The apartment is also very clean and the neighbors are quiet and respectful. I rarely hear my neighbors and have found the maintenance/staff to be very helpful. My favorite thing is that I can keep my windows open at night, because it is so quiet!"
