"I called the number, introduced myself and before I could ask about available properties, the guy on the phone said "we're not participating" and hung up. After reading the other comments, it's best I don't proceed with them anyway."

"Incredibly unprofessional. Called earlier today asking if they had any houses for rent since we saw a sign earlier for their property, guy said no we don’t. We mentioned that we saw a sign in front of the house to which the guy on the phone actually yelled at us: “WHAT—YOU THINK I’M A LIAR??” Then nonstop gibberish and screaming. I was shocked. He could’ve said we were mistaken instead of throwing a tantrum. I can’t imagine how having to pay that guy money for rent when he can’t even handle a simple phone call"

"Jim Lum is rude, their maintenance man doesnt do repairs for months, if ever. I told them on numerous occasions their windows were leaking water and causing the wall to break off and mold to grow on their carpets, not until I put the mold in with my rent payment did they attempt to remedy the problem. I say attempt bc the windows still leaked. The carpets and padding were so badly molded I had to pull them up myself. My family was getting sick from it. The maintenance man stole change from us (we caught him on camera) and his excuse was it's only change. Minor repairs took up to 5 months, bigger problems were answered with " we can't get to right now". They are known as slumlords for a reason."

"The gentleman was very rude and disrespectful to us. He had racial profiled us. Not wanting to rent to us because he thought we didn't speak English kept asking if we were from this country after I explained yes we are he continue to ask why my brother-in-law couldn't speak English if he was from this country. After asking him why he was being so rude and disrespectful he said it was a free country. Do not recommend renting from these people."
