"Someone can't make oatmeal....it's terrible. Breakfast also packs up early so don't be late. The quickly run out of coffee and seem reluctant to refill the container. Front desk is super helpful- that's said after spending a week there. Rooms and room services are very exceptional too. I avoided the lobby because prevailing wind carrying cigarette smoke from outside to inside whenever the doors opened. Smoking area was too close to the doors. Besides that icky oatmeal you're likely to love 2 50 inch TVs per room."

"Just beautiful! The beds were very comfortable, clean, you can sign in your netflix, nice hot shower, the swimming pool was not heated, Breakfast was simple, most items were sealed, some fruits. 29 minutes to the beach."

"I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Virginia Beach/Norfolk airport & my stay was less than stellar. When I arrived no one was at the front desk - thankfully I had a digital key. I had packages sent ahead of me which I do not think were ever secure. They sat behind the desk until I asked for them. I tried to checkout early and was charged despite being a Marriott elite member with close to 1,000 nights. This is the first Marriott Hotel to not honor this - they’re obviously hard up. I will not stay here again. The hotel was beatup too. The GM & Asst GM lied to Marriott to be able to charge me for a night (when I checked out early) I didn’t stay because of how awful this hotel was and an emergency. DO NOT STAY HERE!!"

"I usually never write a bad review for anyone. I'm just giving it a one star because I didn't get to experience the whole stayed at the hotel. The manager at that shift charged the remaining of the stay for the reservation that same day in the morning. My bank saw it as a fraud charge so automatically got sent and email and text to confirm the charge which immediately I replied Yes i do recognize the charge. The manager or person in charge instead of calling me or texting me, emailing me. Decided automatically to cancel the reservation for the stayed of the weekend. I even did the check in on the phone app and was just supposed to pick up my room key. When I arrived at the front desk the reservation was cancelled and the guys just said I'm sorry it was the manager who cancelled in the morning. It ruined the whole weekend since it was a surprise for my wife’s birthday."

"This location is close to the airport and provides many essential amenities when we stay in the Hampton Roads area. My family and I stayed here two days ago, so I can more objectively review this property than someone who has not experienced it before. The hotel's facilities are excellent, and I enjoyed all the attention to detail. The room was adequate and met our needs for the three nights. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. The continental breakfast was fantastic. There was a good variety of items and plenty of seating in the breakfast area. We could always find a seat, and the food was delicious. There are many activities offered at the hotel: indoor pool, fitness center, business center, and laundry room. The room has a horizontal Flat Screen TV. The Internet was fast and reliable, which was essential to us. Parking was not problematic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area looking for accommodations that are both affordable and comfortable. I plan on staying here again when we have work in the area or need to travel through Norfolk."
