"Had a great time! It was my birthday weekend and I couldn't have had a better time then to spend it with newly made friends. Setting in the living room watching the Waltons on the TV and looking at all the memorabilia in the show and the room we were all in. I could see John and Grandpa setting in their chairs. I looked at the kitchen and could see Olivia and Grandma cooking. The kids were setting around also. John boy was up in his bedroom called the writer's room that we were in working on his book. My mind went back to a simple life with family and friends. Thanks for the memories."

"So we didn't stay overnight at the B&B but we did visit and tour. It was a beautiful house and, as a big fan of the Waltons TV show, it was a fantastic experience. It is well worth your time, even if you are only touring. The Waltons' Mountain Museum is directly across the street and the actual home that Earl Hamner Jr lived in as a child is just a short walk down the street. Please take some time to see this wonderful place if you are in the area. I love the inclusion of Grandma's stained glass window."

"Simply wonderful stay at John & Olivia’s Bed and Breakfast. Loved the front porch late evening chat with the other guests. The house was very much like being in the Walton’s home. Beds were comfortable and the morning breakfast delicious. If you are anywhere near Schuyler, VA this is a must see gem."

"Finally stayed here over night. Five star rating all around. We booked the Grandparent's Room as it was the only one remaining. Our stay was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. The surprised history and story during breakfast was an absolute surprise and treat. The staff was top notch. The other guests were very nice. Updated from my first visit back on April 15, 2021 when I just stopped by for an amazing tour into the past... First Review: Enjoyed my visit and tour. Super wonderful and nice staff and owner. I hope to stay here one night, which would be amazing."
