The Indigo House Bed & Breakfast

"The Indigo House bed and breakfast is perfect. Another reviewer said in his review to stop reading and book now, and I would like to echo that! I can't say enough. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, and generous, both with their expertise in helping guide us around the area, and with the wonderful food and treats they provided. In the evening, Stephenie and Kyle invited my wife and I to sit around their outdoor fire pit, and if you ask in advance they can arrange for a very good dinner on premises. The house itself is a new construction, and is warm, welcoming, and kept very clean. All of Stephanie's local recommendations were tailored to our tastes and spot on. I highly recommend this place, and I would go back again in a heartbeat. I'm so glad that I found the Indigo House!"

"Could not recommend Indigo House more!! We had the absolute best stay for a birthday celebration and enjoyed chatting with Stephanie and Kyle. The house is so cozy and an easy drive to many hikes, breweries, and vineyards. The food is delicious and local, plus a free bottle of local wine to enjoy as a night cap. Definitely stay here when you’re in the area!"

"Thanks, Kyle and Stephanie for a memorable stay! We usually stay at hotels or short-term rentals when we travel, but this place offered so much more! The place was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and filled with all the amenities needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. Breakfasts were amazing and after our daily explorations, we were welcomed back with a freshly made dessert. Kyle and Stephanie were super accommodating hosts, putting so much thought into the “extras” that made our stay such a wonderful experience. They really made us feel like family and we will definitely be back!"

"Magical and memorable. The Indigo House stay was one we want to repeat! The location is perfect for hiking the trails of the beautiful Shenandoah NP and visiting the numerous breweries and vineyards. For me, just being at the Indigo House was a highlight. The view of the mountains and woods from the house is gorgeous. Stephanie and Kyle pay attention to details like music and fresh flowers as well as daily necessities. The bed was so comfy! The food was delicious and an afternoon treat was appreciated after our days of hiking. I love the hammock! Both indoor and outdoor common areas provide fun places to gather. Everyone was extremely and authentically nice and welcoming. Marietta is quiet dog and a very Good Girl."

"My wife and I spent a 2 night stay at the Indigo House in late September as a respite from spending a few days hiking on the Appalachian Trail. The stay was wonderful. Stephanie and Kyle were very gracious and thoughtful hosts. An abundant and packable breakfast was provided that we used for a picnic on a day hike and enjoyed very much. The house was fresh, comfortable, and beautiful with excellent mountain sunrise views. We celebrated our 32nd anniversary with a wonderful dinner at the Farmhouse at Veritas which was an easy 5-6 mile drive away. We look forward to staying again on our next trip to the area."
