"When our home was built, MEP installed the HVAC system. I thought they were an out of town contractor who had won the bid for our neighborhood and I didn’t realize they had local offices so I hired a different company to do seasonal HVAC routine maintenance. That was a big mistake.. The other company sent a young man who upsold me every time he came to service the unit. This included convincing me, a retiree, that my 2 year old unit had lost 2lbs of coolant to which he charged me almost $500.00!! My neighbor told me that MEP had a local office and because they installed the unit he had them do all of the routine servicing and maintenance. I called them immediately and set up a contract for regular service at a very reasonable price. I haven’t looked back. The technicians come out, check the unit and have not once tried to upsell me on anything. They are courteous and knowledgeable and clean up after themselves. My most recent visit included a recommendation to clean part of the interior of the unit but he did not make it seem “life or death”. He added it to our next routine visit and gave us a ballpark estimate of what it may cost. I recommend MEP; very professional, knowledgeable and reasonable without the need to upsell the customer. That’s the way to grow and maintain a good business!"
