"This spa is pretty and calm. The staff are friendly and the esthetician who did my facial was kind and attentive. However, I booked the Deep Pore Glow Facial and confirmed with the receptionist to make sure it was the price it stated on the website: $95. After my facial I was charged $130. I called the receptionist to break down the charges and she stated the $35 add on was for the chemical peel. I understand if I asked for the chemical peel during the service why it would be charged. However, I never asked for a chemical peel. All I asked for was the service I booked which includes: “specific cleansing exfoliations and extractions. Removes impurities from the skin and eliminates bacteria. Includes individualized treatment masks and massage.” I was under the impression that the chemical peel they’re referring to was one of the "individualized treatment masks" the facial includes. After explaining this to the receptionist, she assured me she’d send an email to the manager for a follow up. A week went by and no one followed up. I called back and was told another email would be sent. I even included my contact info: email and phone number for the manager. I’m still waiting and it’s been over 2 weeks. Just BE CAREFUL and make sure they're not adding anything to your service."
