Fatou's African Hair Braiding

"Man I just went and got some box braids today the owner fatou's is so heavy handed. I will not be going back and I'm pretty sure that once it comes out I won't have any edges."

"I wouldn’t recommend coming here ever again they keep changing the prices on the same hairstyle I always get which is (fishtails) one minute it’s $50 next it’s $60 then it’s $70 literally and I get the same 3 everytime on top of that today she did my hair and it wasn’t what I asked for and only offered to take $20 off smh it’s ridiculous if you want your hair done I would recommend going to the other lady in the barber shop near the hair supply store she is great and used to work in fatous before."

"I got the Crochet hairstyle the next day they were falling out went back to have it fixed they were expecting more money for fixing something that shouldn’t had to be they saying my hair was thin I never ever had problems before and I wear crochet all the time poor services and disrespect"

"I showed her photos of what I wanted. It's been done many times before by others. She said she could do it, but I got something much different and I was not completely happy with it. I asked for 9 angled cornrows across the top which could be braided together in the back. I got 5 straight cornrows resulting in a tiny somewhat unattractive braid in the back. I brought my own kanekalon and paid $60 + $5 tip. She tried to fix the braid in the back by adding more kanekalon and there was some improvement. It's acceptable, but won't go back."

"I walked in one day to the salon after I complimented a lady on her braids. I told the stylist I drove straight there because I wanted that style. I didn't have an appointment but she took my crochet style out washed it and style my feed in braids. It was beautiful and I received so many compliments. I will return again soon."
