"I’ve been a faithful customer at YY for over 14 years. I have very thick silver hair with lots of body that needs a good professional cut. Kara (loved Kara) originally gave me the perfect style and cut which has been maintained every two weeks. I am now in the skilled hands of April who is a joy and also “gets” my hair. "I have been going to YY Salon for years and love it. I have straight long hair that I like to get trimmed regularly to keep it looking healthy. At other salons the stylists would always try to talk me into doing something “different” like layering it, which I doesn’t work for me.. They also would trim too much trying to make sure it was straight and they would cut off too much. At YY the stylists all listen to what you want. They don’t try to up sell or sell products to you. The stylists are all super professional. I am always happy with my color, cut and style. The lesson — you get what you pay for."
"Got an appointment quickly and easily. I'm new in richmond so I was taking a gamble in picking a place to get my hair done. I got my hair done by Kara and was fantastic! I love what she did. Everyone was extramely professional and welcoming. They have coffee :) I also loved that she explained what she was doing and how to care for my hair going forward with my style.
